Participatory Photography Workshops

Participatory workshops invite children and youth to tell their own stories through photography.

With thoughtful guidance and hands-on exploration, participants learn the foundations of visual storytelling while strengthening confidence, perspective, and creative voice.

Each workshop is tailored to the goals of the organization, school, or group. Both the structure and content are thoughtfully customized — whether the focus is on promoting psychosocial wellbeing, fostering social connection, building advocacy and leadership skills, or supporting participatory research initiatives.

The focus remains consistent: creating space for young people to observe their world, reflect on their experiences, and communicate what matters to them.

Workshops are designed with a developmentally grounded approach, ensuring experiences that are both meaningful and age-appropriate.

If you would like to explore a customized workshop experience for your community, I would be glad to discuss your goals and vision.
